Graduation Weekend 2019
Menu Items and Prices are Subject to Change
These policies are for parties of 5-18 people at Sava’s during May 3 - May 4, 2019.
Required $100 Deposit
We require a $100 deposit as confirmation of each Graduation 2019 Reservation occurring during May 3 - May 4, 2019.
By submitting this $100 deposit, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following Graduation 2019 Weekend Policies below. Your $100 deposit will be credited towards your final bill on the day of your reservation.
Adjustments & Cancellations
You will have until Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 12:00pm to make any adjustments to your reservation. After that date there is a $25 per person cancellation/adjustment fee for any reservation of 5 or more on the above-listed dates. If your party size decreases, it will be subtracted from your $100 deposit. You have until Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 12:00pm to cancel your reservation free of charge. After that date, if you choose to cancel your reservation, you will forfeit your $100 deposit.
Reservation Time Frames
Due to the demand for reservations during Graduation Weekend (May 3 - May 4, 2019), we appreciate your understanding that parties must adhere to the time limits listed below (please see below). Time Frames begin at the beginning of your reserved time.
• As a party size of 4 or less, you may enjoy your table for 1.5 hours.
• As a party size of 5-10, you may enjoy your table for 2 hours.
• As a party size of 11-14, you may enjoy your table for 2.5 hours.
• As a party size of 15-18, you may enjoy your table for 3 hours.
Due to the large volume of reservations we have over the weekend, we will happily hold your reservation if you call and let us know you are running late. However, it will impact the amount of time allotted for dining. If you do not contact us within 15 minutes of your reservation, we will remove your reservation from our system and you will forfeit your deposit.
We will be offering a special menu for Graduation Weekend. This paired down menu will consist of some of your favorite dishes, providing your guests with a variety of options to meet any dietary need. This menu will be finalized in the middle of April. Due to the high volume of ingredient sourcing during Graduation Weekend menu pricing will be affected.
We have several options for enjoying desserts with your Graduation reservation. We offer a variety of housemade desserts similar to our everyday menu. We allow outside desserts to be brought in for a fee of $2 per person. Due to the high volume of guests we see throughout the weekend, we can only store an outside dessert for up to 8 hours prior to the reservation.

Can minimums be waived for private
The minimum provided is what you can expect to spend regardless of the requirement. Our food and beverage minimums are based on the average amount expected to be spent with a group in each space with the average number of guests. The minimum also covers the additional time and staff involved in preparing special private spaces for our guests during this busy weekend. We’re happy to look at alternate days to check availability for you if the minimums are a concern.
Why are prices higher than normal?
In order to provide you with the best service and hospitality during this very special occasion, we spare no expense in rentals, staffing, supplies, etc. We want to make sure that your experience is memorable and that your every need is anticipated and fulfilled.
Do you allow any modifications to
We do our absolute best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, and to make modifications as we are able.
May I sit on the patio?
We’re not taking outdoor dining reservations due to the challenges of Michigan weather prediction.
May I split the bill?
We’re able to split any bill up to five ways. We’re not able to split a bill more than five ways.
May I bring in an
Yes, of course! We charge $2 per guest.
Do you have highchairs and/or booster seats?
Absolutely, please let us know ahead of time so that we may set it up for you!
Can I make a reservation side-by-side with another party?
Due to the configuration of our restaurant, we’re unable to offer this as an option. We do have private spaces that can accommodate larger party sizes up to 22 at Sava’s, however, so let us know if you’re interested and we’ll put you in touch with our Private Space Coordinator for Graduation 2019.
May I squeeze another person into my party? Please?
We’re unable to add guests to your party unexpectedly, but if you have any changes prior to February 28, 2019, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How long am I allowed to enjoy my meal?
Your contract will provide you with an amount of time that you have access to your table based on your party size, and your server(s) will also be aware. Extension of this time past the allotment is at the discretion of management.
Is there an elevator and/or chair-lift in the building?
Unfortunately, no, but please let us know immediately if you or any of your guests require ADA accessibility. We’ll do everything we can to provide easy and safe access.
Are you able to provide any details about the menus? Will I be able to get Sava’s Mac & Cheese?
Our house favorites will absolutely remain on the menu for graduation! And while we don’t currently have our graduation menus available (kindly check back again at the beginning of April). May I come in early to decorate my table?
Private Space reservations are welcome to arrive up to 20 minutes prior to reservation start time to decorate with anything you like, as long as it is not glitter, confetti, silly string, etc. If it’s bigger than a quarter, you’re all set! We’re unable to provide early set up for reservations in the main dining room.
