These policies are for parties of 5-16 people at Aventura


Required $100 Deposit


For all graduation reservations of 5 or more, we require a $100 deposit to secure your table for May 1st and May 2nd. By submitting this $100 deposit, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following Graduation 2020 Weekend Policies below.

Adjustments & Cancellations


You will have until March 30, 2020 at 12:00pm to make any adjustments to your reservation. If your party size decreases, a fee of $25 per person will be retained from your deposit after March 30th.

You have until March 30, 2020 at 12:00pm to cancel your reservation free of charge. After that date, if you choose to cancel your reservation, you will forfeit your $100 deposit.

for Cash Value


On the day of your reservation, if your final bill does not reach the $100 deposit amount, the remainder is not redeemable for cash value. We do not anticipate this occurring due to party size requirements and pricing of dishes.

Reservation Time Frames


Due to the demand for reservations during Graduation Weekend (May 1-2, 2020 ), we appreciate your understanding that parties must adhere to the time limits listed below (please see below). 

● A party size of 5 or less, you may enjoy your table for 1.5 hours. 
● A party size of 6­ to 10, you may enjoy your table for 2 hours. 
● A party size of 11 to ­20 you may enjoy your table for 2.5 hours.

Late Policy


Due to the large volume of reservations we have over the weekend, we will happily hold your reservation if you call and let us know you are running late. However, it will impact the amount of time allotted for dining. If you do not contact us within 15 minutes of your reservation, the reservation will be canceled.



We will be offering a special menu for Graduation Weekend. The special graduation menu will consist of some of your favorite dishes along with our top selling chef specials, providing your guests with a variety of options to meet any dietary needs. This menu will be finalized in the beginning of April. Due to the high volume of ingredient sourcing during Graduation Weekend menu pricing will be affected.



We have two options for enjoying desserts with your Graduation reservation. We offer a variety of housemade desserts similar to our everyday menu. We allow outside desserts to be brought in for a fee of $2 per person. Due to the high volume of guests we see throughout the weekend, we can only store an outside dessert for up to 8 hours prior to the reservation.




Do you have any availability in your Private Dining spaces?


Given the high number of requests for reservations on this exciting weekend, we are offering reservations for smaller groups only and will not be extending private dining reservations. The largest party size we can accommodate for graduation is XX.

Will there be a special menu for Graduation? When will it be available for me to view?


There sure will be! We’ll have special offerings in addition to highlighting popular items we currently have on our dinner menu. We expect the final menu to be available to you a couple weeks before graduation. In the meantime, please feel free to peruse our current menu to get an idea of what you may enjoy during your celebration: AventuraAnnArbor.com/menus.

Why are prices higher than normal?


In order to provide you with the best service and hospitality during this very special occasion, we spare no expense in rentals, staffing, supplies, etc. We want to make sure that your experience is memorable and that your every need is anticipated and fulfilled.

Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions / allergies?


We do our absolute best to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies within the limitations of a kitchen that is not allergen-free. Please let us know as soon as possible if you or your guests have any severe allergies and/or restrictions.

May we bring in outside dessert?


Yes! We charge $2 per person in your party for storage, presentation, plating, and repackaging.

How long am I allowed to enjoy my meal?


Your booking agreement will provide you with an amount of time that you have access to your table based on your party size, and your server(s) will also be aware. Extension of this time past the allotment is at the discretion of management. 

May I split the check?


You may split the check evenly up to six times. We are unable to split off individual items.

Will gratuity automatically be added to my bill? 


A 20% service charge will be added to all parties of 8 or more.

Can my reservation be for the patio?


We don’t take reservations for our patio, but you may request an outdoor table when you arrive on the day of your reservation, pending permitting weather and availability.

What is your cancellation policy? How does the deposit work?

*applies to parties of 5 or more only


All cancellations made before March 30, 2020 will result in a fully refunded $100 deposit. All cancellations made after March 30, 2020 will result in the $100 deposit being forfeited. 

On the day of your reservation, the $100 deposit will be deducted from your final bill. If your final bill does not reach $100, the remainder is not redeemable for cash value.

Do you have highchairs and/or booster seats?


Absolutely, please let us know ahead of time so that we may set it up for you!

Can I make a reservation side-by-side with another party?


Due to the configuration of our restaurant, we’re unable to offer this as an option.

May I change my party size? May I squeeze another person into my party?


We’re unable to add guests to your party unexpectedly, but if you have any changes prior to March 30, 2020, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What happens if I don’t show up on time?


Due to the large volume of reservations we have over the weekend, we’ll happily hold your reservation if you call and let us know you’re running late; please note it will impact the amount of time you’ve been allotted for dining (detailed in your contract). If you don’t contact us within 15 minutes of your reservation time if arriving late, it will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited (for parties of 5 or more).

Is there an elevator and/or chair-lift in the building?


Unfortunately, no, but please let us know immediately if you or any of your guests require ADA accessibility. We’ll do everything we can to provide easy and safe access.

May I bring in my own decorations?


Yes, of course! You may bring in anything you like, with the exception of glitter/confetti of any kind. If it’s larger than a quarter, you’re good! Please note that we are unable to provide for early setup or store your decorations in advance for you.
